Our team recently had the opportunity to attend an event at Baruch College with
industry leaders speaking on ‘Data Driven Brands in the Age of AI.’

We listened as business leaders and researchers spoke about tackling the steps
necessary to integrate AI into their client’s organizations.

Our top take-aways from the panel:

  1. Complementary Innovation for Operationalizing Efficiency - a lot of wasted human energy on daily processes, AI will help prioritize our focus and determine which high leverage task to focus on first

  2. Artificial Intelligence should be labeled as 'Amplify Intelligence' - we don't have to use AI for something completely new and we don't need to re-invent the wheel, we should be using AI to enhance what we already have

  3. Practically and Application of AI - Bloomberg is transforming the financial industry through BloombergGPT as it 'outperforms similarly-sized open models on financial NLP tasks by significant margins — without sacrificing performance'

  4. Remain Skeptical and continue to test and validate - humans are easily fooled and we need to stop trusting the 'the really confident sales guy.' The loudest person in the room approach has historically worked on the TV medium and AI gives us a clean slate.
